JOURNEY Singer Says ROLLING STONE Magazine Quotes Were Taken Out Of Context

Arnel Pineda, JOURNEY's YouTube-found new lead singer, has told California's CBS5 News he is enjoying his "fairy tale experience" and that Rolling Stone magazine's report describing him as "sad" and the concert tour as "cursed" was exaggerated.

"I'm having a blast up here on stage," Pineda said in Concord, as part of an interview alongside guitarist Neal Schon during a break before a concert Wednesday evening (September 24).

"I can't deny it. I miss home. I'm homesick, but... I've got the best gig in the world. How can I be so miserable?"
